DVA'S Tilesets: Deep 'N' Dark

UPDATE 9/8/23: MAJOR OVERHAUL!!! I've gone through and brought the tiles (and waterfall) to life! I rendered it out more to feel and look like an actual cave, with a heavy flowing waterfall to match.  Some additional props were added or cleaned up. The waterfall is completely tileable - besides the bottom foam which would have to be layered over each other to stretch. I'll be putting the old version to rest for now until I figure something else out with it, but I really view this as the definitive version of this tileset. I've also thrown in another set of backgrounds for variety. I hope you all enjoy the make over Deep N Dark got - now don't get too lost in these caverns.

Shake up your game development with this saturated and vibrant tileset! Meant to be eye candy and separate your work from the other platformer projects, this asset is loaded with color and modularity so you can make the best caves around! This tileset is a pack of terrain, environment, water/lava/acid/sludge falls, crates, stalagmites/tites, stones, bones, back and fore ground tiles, chains, vines and more! All tiles/objects are built around 16x16 sprites and I've included a ton of options to either tile or place various assets. Screenshots include samples of the tileset being used alongside unreleased and released asset packs.

Everything include in this pack:

• Terrain (everything is tileable/placed  to be tiled in particular ways)
  • Front tiles - used as the main ground characters and other things would interact on
  • Back tiles - used to enhance the scene and sit behind the front tiles; de-saturated so it doesn't conflict with the front tiles
• Crystals & Stalagmites/tites
  • 42 larger crystals (7 colors, each with 6 different types)
  • 7 smaller crystals
  • 9 stalagmites and 9 stalactites
  • 28 wall/tile crystals to put around the environment/walls
  • Each stalagmite/tite is also done as single colors for background effects
• Water
  • Completely animated (8 frames) and tileable (both vertically and horizontally)
  • On sheets, animations are labeled by frame for clear understanding
  • Included 50% and 100% transparencies for solid blocks for any underwater or water coverage (as seen in screenshot sample)
