Hi Dan, for buyers who previously purchased the full version as a single file prior to the free version option, once you created two files, the full version is no longer available to download anymore. I can see as you change this over the files I had access to are no longer are available only the free version.

Whats really concerning about all  this, is how it automatically updates the invoice, even though I have proof of downloading the full file version, it now thinks I only have access to the free version. Both thicc-n-juicy and teeny tiny are affected for me, i can only see the free version, but not Short N Stubby because it hasnt been changed yet. Ive downloaded the short and stubby invoice now as proof so when it changes I have something to show you for comparison, I just wanted to highlight this before you change that one too.

[edit]

But when I check Deep N Dark, I have the full version downloaded. the invoice says I only have access to the free version, yet when I visit the download page, I do actually have access to both version. I need to raise a support request with itch.io something weird is going on.

Hey tpascal

Sorry this is happening. I am not sure why this would be impacting people who have puchased it already. I haven't replaced any files or restricted access to them. I only uploaded an additional file to it and changed the purchasing options. Please let me know how the ticket request gets resolved - strange Deep N Dark functions properly-ish for you, but not the others. All of them were updated in the same way.

Hey Dan,

Ive just received the following response from support.

"These issues are arising because the developers have added per file pricing, which overrides all sales and discounts. Many developers do not realize they are locking out paying customers, but in other cases they have made a decision to charge more and implement a higher price".

Is this what is happening on your end?

I haven't been given any updates or communication from itchio about how these changes affect customers. Shoot me an email - danvelasquezart@gmail.com - and we can chat about it directly. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hey there! I love this pack and want to buy it. Just wondering if you made any progress on those other basic movement (to-do's), i'm particularly interested in the interact/crafting, dialogue, and rest animations!

I haven't had a chance. I teach during the year, so our summer just kicked off and I'll be traveling. But once I'm back, I'll have time to update it a bit more. My goal is to also reorganize it a bit more to clean it up, in addition to a shop overhaul. Make sure to follow my socials cause I will be posting there with updates to it.

Excellent pack! Totally worth the buy.

How can I contact you directly? I may have an offer that could be beneficial for us both. https://discord.com/invite/gvr98nb if you want to hop in my official discord channel.

hi! this pack looks awesome but i have a  suggestion, could you make each animation have its own png files (some engines like gdevelop need that)

Hey! Thanks for dropping by. That's on my radar. I also use GDevelop and know that it's easier to have it sliced up into PNGs. I'm  back at work/teaching now, so it'll take some time. But I do have plans to get some of this stuff into PNGs at some point

do you have any idea how do make all the animations line up? i was using an online tool to splice the gifs but some of the gifs are different sizes so i cant

Shoot me a message on discord and I can help resolve this: stayfrosty426

Otherwise, you can put the PNGs/sheets into Aseprite and select them and lower them in the sheet or within an engine, you can change their points of origin

Bought this and the gun pack a few days ago, and I need to say it looks awesome.

It seems you are planning to add a lot more to this pack, that's why I wanted to ask if you could add a jump rolling animation, something like ... well jump with a roll :D

Anyway awesome stuff, keep up :+1

Thanks! Yeah, things are starting to pick up with going back to work (I'm an art teacher by profession), but with the time I have outside of it, my plan is to implement a full roll animation (I have one for my Short N Stubby pack) that will have a slight wind-up, then hop up slightly, then roll, land, recover, and get back up into place. In addition, I'll be working on updating the pack with the skin tones I brought into my other pack. That's a high priority for me to be more inclusive and represent more than just what you traditionally see on itchio for packs like this.

I appreciate the suggestion though and look out for updates here and on my twitter @danvelasquezart - I post about updates there mostly.

Just finished up a huge overhaul to this and included a few different roll animations and more gun/projectile animations. TONS of things were added, so be sure to download the new version.

Bought this the day it came out, it's honestly a steal. Author's gun pack has already been updated once, can't wait for the updates on this one.

I'll be working on some basic melee attacks first, I think. Just to at least have that option for people like the shooting. After that, I'll get back into some more advanced movements like roll/dodge, climb, etc.

Just pushed out a huge overhaul to this! Let me know what you think!

Nice!

Thank you!
